WXIA’s website has everything a viewer could want — from live streaming of breaking news to a pleasing video display. The site has clear links to the WXIA TV schedule, and it does a great job in presenting 11Alive weather reports. The only knock against 11 Alive News is a couple of minor FCC issues. These concern WXIA’s failure to comply with FCC limits on advertising to children. Additionally, there are complaints about airing those annoying commercials that blare the Emergency Broadcast Signal in a deceptive attempt at capturing the viewer’s attention.
