My 68 Birmingham WABM is a TV broadcaster located in Birmingham, AL. It’s an entertainment channel that airs a creative collection of daytime television, and comedy shows. You can watch the channel online via its video-on-demand collection, updated regularly.
TV 68 Birmingham carries the full MyNetworkTV programming, plus some syndicated programs including Maury, Jerry Springer, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Cheaters, How I Met Your Mother and Family Feud. 68 TV also airs a local public affairs show called Our Issues: Birmingham on Sunday nights. WABM Birmingham is one of the few remaining US TV stations that still signs off overnight, Sunday night-early Monday mornings. In addition to local weather, traffic, and school closings, TV WABM focuses on sports broadcasting, and is an outlet of the Sinclair-owned American Sports Network, carrying most college sporting events. For information on other Birmingham TV options, see this station.
From 1992 to 2014, WABM held the local broadcast rights to college football and basketball games from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) through Raycom Sports and its predecessor sports syndication services (with games televised as part of its ACC Network arm from 2009 onward), airing most regular season games from selected conference teams each year as well as games from the first three rounds of the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament. When the SEC Network debuted, however, it wound up on WTTO instead. In August 2014, WABM became a charter outlet of the Sinclair-owned American Sports Network ad hoc syndication service, carrying mainly college sports events; as a result, the ACC Network broadcast rights for the Birmingham market were migrated to sister station WTTO/WDBB beginning in August 2015.
