NBC San Diego is owned by NBCUniversal. It is an affiliate of the network NBC network. As an affiliate, San Diego KNSD tends to focus its original news coverage on local issues during the traditional morning, mid-day, evening and late-night news slots. KNSD News currently airs 31½ hours of San Diego local news broadcasts each week.
