Serbia’s RTS2 Online is a general entertainment station that focuses on special sporting events or special parliamentary debates. RTS2 also broadcasts children’s and educational programs as well reruns of old Serbian comedy and drama series.
The station opened in 1971, and throughout the mid 1970s, it was the only Serbian TV that broadcast in color. RTS2 viewership is much lower than than RTS1. In 2015, for example, whereas RTS1 had a viewer share of 18.5, RTS2’s viewership was only 2.3. And the numbers for RTS2 have been dropping steadily since 2003.
